THE GOWN its a gripping Drama Film about MIRENE and her identical twin sister ELENE, born to a Sardinian mother and an American father, now back in Sardinia after completing their studies in London. Mirene, engaged and about to get married, dreams of wearing her wedding dress with the "Su Componidori" mask of her late Mother, to pay her homage, as she was one of the few women to have had the honor of wearing it for the famous and revered Sartiglia of Oristano.
When Mirene is brutally attacked and her fiancé leaves her, the entire world collapses on her, and even so, little by little Mirene seems to overcome the traumatic event, smiling again as she travels the Island in discovery of the most beautiful beaches... Only she knows if this is truly the case.

L’ABITO, è un avvincente Film Drammatico su MIRENE e sua sorella gemella identica ELENE, nate da madre Sarda e padre Americano, adesso di nuovo in Sardegna dopo aver finito gli studi a Londra. Mirene, fidanzata ed in procinto di sposarsi, sogna di indossare il suo Abito da Sposa con la maschera de "Su Componidori" della defunta Madre, per renderle omaggio, visto che era stata una delle poche donne ad avere avuto l'onore di indossarla per la famosa e venerata Sartiglia di Oristano.
Quando Mirene viene attaccata brutalmente ed il suo fidanzato la lascia, il mondo intero le crolla addosso, ed anche se poco a poco sembra superare il traumatico evento, sorridendo di nuovo mentre viaggia l’Isola alla Scoperta delle più belle spiagge... Solo lei sa se sia veramente così.
